Notes from the Grove

I just received an email from BARF World about their Photo and Story Contest for the 2010 BARF World Calendar, here are the details they sent:

GRAND PRIZE – You’ll receive a check from BARF World in the amount of $500 dollars – that’s right – just like getting paid by a publishing company.

1ST RUNNER UP: Two FREE Cases of the BARF Diet – your choice of diets and we’ll also pay the freight. If you have a small dog don’t worry – we’ll let you split the shipments!

2nd RUNNER Up: One FREE case of the BARF Diet – your choice of diets and we will pay the freight!

4-10 Runners Up – FREE Freight on your next order of the BARF Diet!
All people entering our contest will receive a FREE calendar and all of you who enter and meet the deadline and requirements will receive one of our crazy new Tee-Shirt compliments of BARF World – absolutely FREE!!

Here are the guidelines:

1. All entries should be sent to Amber. You can email them to amber@barfworld.com or send them to the following address:

BARFWORLD, INC. 3840 Blackhawk Road, Danville, CA 94506

2. Deadline for postmark or emailing your entry is Tuesday Sept 01, 2009. That gives you two months so there’s plenty of time! Any entries received after this date simply can’t be considered because we’ll run out of time to produce the calendar.

3. You can submit as many entries as you like – you can enter as many times as you like as long as the stories are different. We’ll judge each story on an individual basis.

4. Winners will be announced on November 01, 2009.

5. Please include your tee-shirt size on your submission, S, M, L or XL. We’ll do our best to send you the size you requested. I’m keeping the shirts a surprise but I promise you will LOVE THEM.

6. In the event not all submissions can be used in our First Edition 2010 BARF Calendar, we may use your submission in future published products or promotional activities. Your entry constitutes your agreement and understanding of this.
