To Vaccinate ?

Canine Vaccine Protocols have undergone many changes in the last few years and for good reason !  Research over the last couple years has proven that the vaccines we give our pets in the hopes of preventing disease are in many cases, causing disease and at the least harming their overall immune function.

Dr. Gloria Dodd and Dr. Ron Schultz are considered two of the premier vaccine researchers and have published numerous articles outlining the potential damages from over-vaccination.  Although both veterinarians still advocate for vaccination they strongly recommend that pet owners begin to take vaccines seriously.

In response to Dr. Dodd’s research the American Veterinary Medical Association changed it’s recommended protocol for vaccines in the United States.  This change in protocol has been slow to meet the mainstream.

If you would like to learn more about Dr. Dodd’s research you can visit:

You can listen and read numerous interviews with Dr. Dodd on Animal Talk Naturally:

Vaccine Protocols

So, today we encourage you to go out and buy a pretty folder (we prefer pink of course), call all your vet’s and get copies of ALL your dogs vaccine records and create a chart outlining each vaccine they have received in chronological order.  Then show this to your vet next time they are “due” for a vaccine and ask “Does he really need to have this particular shot EVERY year ?”

You can also view the Washington State Canine Vaccination Protocol at WSU – the protocol set forth at WSU is what we at the Grove require for our guests, nothing more !!!!!!!!!
