New Book by Local Author

Pacific Northwest Native, Garth Stein will be at a book signing Tuesday January 13th at the Olympia Timberland Library at 7pm.

His latest book, The Art of Racing in The Rain is about Enzo a dog philosopher with a nearly human soul (and an obsession with opposable thumbs), he has educated himself by watching television extensively, and by listening very closely to the words of his master, Denny Swift, an up-and-coming race car driver.

I haven’t had a chance to read this book yet, but the author of “Water for Elephants” gave it a rave review and Water for Elephants is now one of my top 10 most favorite books !  I just realized I haven’t even given it a blog book review yet !  (GASP  – will get to that soon !)

Anyways, it’s a local author holding a book signing at our local libray !  Go support it if you have the chance !
