Seadog the Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Recently, Seadog traveled with her Dad and got to actually play in the Chesapeake Bay for which her breed is named. A Breed Pilgrimage so to speak!
Seadog is a regular here at the Grove and we really enjoy her company. She is one of our top ball chasers and best of all she brings it back everytime 
I haven’t met very many Chesapeakes, but if they are all like Seadog I can certainly understand the breed admiration. Now, Seadog is a bit dramatic at times and very vocal when she is excited. She does not bark alot but she has amazing vocal abilities which almost reach a schriek when she is very excited and telling you about her day! Her stamina is amazing but she does love to cuddle and enjoys belly rubs before and after ball time. I am of course aware of most the retriever breeds and their amazing ability to “retrieve” but Seadog still amazes me with her uncanny ability and dedication to “retrieving” !
