Reported over at VIN last week is a possible or suspected case of a treat made in China causing health problems in dogs.
This time it is dental chews made in China and of course there is mention of the chicken jerky strips again.
It is more than obvious that China is not using acceptable methods of control over ingredients, or even acceptable ingredients so I must ask “Why are we buying these products?”.
We need to STOP buying products, especially edible products that are manufactured or include ingredients from China.
Easier said than done I know, today I noticed that the Kirkland Brand Vitamin E I give my dogs was made in China! Now I have to re-evaluate all my supplements!
I think China has given us enough warning(s), time to STOP feeding our dogs food, treats and supplements that are made in China!
