You’ll have to forgive me for a non-dog related post but just had to share my little brother’s adventure/journey/cause. He joined the Trek to Energize America ride from Seattle to DC on a bicycle and hopefully after he reaches DC he will jump on a plane and bicycle across Europe working on organic farms along the way.

In a way it is dog related in that a healthy planet helps dogs too;)

He is keeping a blog and photo diary of his trek at his website Jack and The City Lights – he can only upload every couple days or when he finds an open wi-fi stream But the wait is well worth it as his photos are awesome and writing enthralling but I might be a wee bit biased…just a little….

I hope he finds meaning and creates memories of a lifetime. He is my half brother and due to typical divorcing couples and custody battles that envelope and poison families, I didn’t get to spend much time with him after age 10 and just recently began re-connecting…it will be interesting to watch via his blog how his journey goes…even though he is kinda grown up now, he is still just a little boy in my mind so it worries me like crazy that he is out there but makes me proud at the same moment.

If your interested in following a young man’s journey across this great country and more check out the site !
