Hi Paula,
Many breeders do preliminary exams as they can tell you early if there is a problem, normally no refund would be given for this but if they said they would you should follow up with a phone call to them directly. The x-rays were sent to OFA from Steamboat, OFA should mail you something and it could take some time, try calling OFA after a couple weeks to check or keep an eye on their website www.offa.org - Hope that helps!

I was searching through tough dog toy reviews... I just wanted to add to your review. I have a 20 month old pitbull, and he is very energetic. We have tried everything that will keep more than a week. I being a tennis instructor have given him a ton of dead tennis balls(his favorite), but when buying toys I find it very hard. He has destroyed the toughest of rope toys(shreds them and pulls out the strands of string through the knot), those tire toys last a bit longer, I have a lot of luck with kong toys. I just invested in the 14"jolly ball and boy does he love this. He wasn't much of a fetch guy but when he gets this thing rolling he tries to beat the hell out of it. I have noticed some minor surface scratches which is great since he tries to destroy it and it is one durable ball. The only thing I worry about is when he tries to fit it in his mouth is he will sometimes gag himself. I hope this adds to your review.

We brought our three poodles to breeders day. It was well organized, quick and efficient. I appreciate this service to breeders with multiple dogs that they do health and genetic screening.

I do have a question. We did patella exams on three of our poodles. After we got home we realized that our 6 month old would only be a preliminary exam and wanted to cancel so I called and they said they would cancel her testing and refund our money.

I have not received payment and don't have anything saying that her testing was done and/or results. Could you please let me know if that should have been refunded and if not, how to get the results on the OFA since I've paid for it.

thanks
